How to identify the Amethyst?
This crystal is one of the easiest ones to identify because its appearance and colouring are well defined. You can find this crystal in different shapes and sizes ranging from tiny pieces to huge “caves”. The colours can also range from a very dark purple tone to a pale, almost white lilac tone.
When tumbled, the amethyst gets very smooth and maintains its colour and brightness. In the raw form, we can commonly find pieces and clusters. Whenever you see many purple and brightly coloured pointy crystals, you can be sure that you are seeing an Amethyst!
What’s the Amethyst for and how to use it?
The Amethyst is a crystal that brings tranquillity to those who have it inside the house or use it as jewellery. It also serves to purify the environment from bad energies and make everything lighter. Another function of it is to aid in meditation and astral travel.
You can use it as decoration in your home, as a piece of jewellery, always in contact with your body, or as a sleeping accessory.
For example, having several Amethysts scattered around the house will clean the environment and energize it with good energies. Wearing it as a jewel will aid in clear thinking, improve your intuition and will also help you to relieve stress. Also, try putting a piece under your pillow for having good nights of sleep and increasing your chances of having lucid dreams or astral travel.
